Gray Line Mapping?

Post your observations about the day's conditions - like hot Sporadic-E openings, or perhaps the complete shutdown of the HF spectrum due to a solar flare. This is the place to share your reports on the "real world" conditions.

Gray Line Mapping?

Something that would be useful on the site would be a live grey line prop map along the line of:

http://dx.qsl.net/propagation/greyline.html

But even more helpful would be an interactive program that would allow a user to plug in his location, time of sunset/sunrise for a given day, & be able to see a printable G-L Map. No doubt such a link exists, but I'm yet to find it. Thanks!

Wow nice link ya thats pretty handy.

I have along way to go till I understand all the propagation index numbers and layers. Ill keep reading Thomas' NW7US Propagation Corner in the magazine maybe someday I can talk smart about it....
