Round the world Echos on 49 meters

On Dec. 16 at around 1015 UT and thereafter, heard round the world echos on the BBC on 6195 KHz. I believe the transmission originated from the BBC Antigua relay station.At this frequency and time, especially considing that much of the long path was across the daylight half of the world, such propagation seems hard to explain. Has anyone heard anything similar, or have an explanation of how such a propagation path could work? [/b]
