Discussion about Longwave Radio and associated topics. Longwave is from 30 kHz to 500 kHz, for the sake of this forum.
This is just a general announcement for all the low frequency hounds out there. Heritage station WNE Coast Radio is now on the air testing, running low power on 472 Khz and 500 Khz daily. Will shift to high power as soon as we can. At this time we are sending WX broadcast at 2200 Z (5 pm EST) and 0100 Z ( 8 pm EST) on 472 Khz. Transmissions typically last for about one hour, so crank up those low frequency RX's and see what you can hear. Just like the old days of maritime CW, and yes we can receive traffic if any is sent to us!!!
