This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
QRZ DX, the OPDX Bulletin, 425 DX News, The Daily DX, DXNL, Contest

UNITED NATIONS, 4UUN. The United Nations Amateur Radio Club will
celebrate the 70th anniversary of the United Nations with special
event station 4U70UN. Operations are expected to take place between
1400Z and 2130Z this Saturday and Sunday. There will be no
overnight operations. Guest ops will be KT1J, Henry; NT2X, Ed;
K1ZK, Zach; NT2Y/UN7TER, Eugene; N1JEZ, Mike; SM6LRR, Mats;
KP2P/RA9USU, Dima; and KR2Q, Doug. They plan to cover as many bands
and modes as possible, including some satellite activity.
SVALBARD, JW. LA3TR and LA8BCA are now QRV as JW3TR and JW8BCA,
respectively. No word on how long they will be there. QSL via home
calls.
BELARUS, EU. In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the United
Nations, special event station EV70UN will be QRV from Minsk City
until November 20. QSL via EW1NY.
TUNISIA, 3V. Ash, KF5EYY plans to be QRV as 3V8SS in the CQWW DX
SSB Contest this weekend in the SOAB category. QSL via LoTW and
LX1NO.
CHINA, BY. BD1LT will be a multi-op in the CQWW DX SSB Contest with
operators BD1LT, BG1QQT, BG1HAS, BH1HUK, BH1EBF, BH1DDU, BH1IGB,
BH1IOT, BH1OEO, BD1IIJ and BH1CXR. QSL direct, via the bureau or
LoTW to BD1LT.
CYPRUS, 5B. Look for 5B4AFM, 5B4AHZ, 5B4KH, 5B4MF, 5B4ZN and G4AXX
to be QRV as C4A in the multi-two category in the CQWW DX SSB
Contest. QSL via 5B4KH with logs being posted on Club Log.
THAILAND, HS. E2A will be a multi-two entry in the CQWW DX SSB
Contest. Ops will be Siam DX Group members E20PFE, E22WWZ, HS7WMU,
HS8FFH, HS3PJF and HS7WHB. QSL via E21EIC and OQRS on Club Log.
TIMOR LESTE, 4W. Tack, JE1CKA will be active as 4W/JE1CKA until
October 28. Activity will be on 160 to 10 meters using mainly CW
and also on SSB in the CQWW DX SSB Contest. QSL via home call.
SAN ANDRES ISLAND, 5J0. Joseph, LU1FM will be active as 5J0B until
October 27. Daniel, LU9FHF will be with him. Activity will be on
160 to 6 meters using SSB and digital modes. Also look for him to
participate the CQWW DX SSB Contest. QSL via home call.
THE GAMBIA, C5. Luc, F5RAV (C5LT) and Gerard, F5NVF (C5C) will be
active from Kololi until October 27. Activity will be on 40 to 10
meters using SSB, RTTY and possibly CW. Operations will also
include the CQWW DX SSB Contest using the call sign C5C. Also,
Mustapha, C5MF, their guide in the Gambia and a new ham, will be
making his first QSOs. QSL C5C and C5MF direct only to F5RAV.
MOZAMBIQUE, C9. Operators John, ZS5J and YL Beth, 2W0VOW will be
active until November 3 as C91B. Activity will be on all HF bands
from 160 to 6 meters using CW and SSB. Free daily logbook uploads
will be done to LoTW and ClubLog. If you need a QSL card sent by
email, the address and information is on QRZ.com.
MOROCCO, CN3. Operators Stefano, IK2QEI, Matteo, IK2SGC, Marco,
IK2LFF, Manuel, IK3STG, Filippo, IZ1LBG and Roberto, I2WIJ will be
active as CN3A from Safi during the CQWW DX SSB Contest. QSL via
LoTW or via IV3ZXQ.
MARSHALL ISLANDS, V7. V73D is QRV from Majuro Island (OC-029) until
October 28. They have four stations simultaneously on the air 24/7
on 160 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. An OQRS will be used
from ClubLog for both direct or Bureau QSLs, preferred. QSL via
DL4SVA, direct or by the Bureau.
MACAU, XX9. Janusz, SP9FIH and Bogdan, SP2FUD are now active as
XX9TIH and XX9TUD, respectively, until October 28. Activity is on
40 to 10 meters using SSB and RTTY. QSL via their home calls.
ALBANIA, ZA. Pekka, OH2YY will be active as ZA/OH2YY from Durres
during the CQWW DX SSB Contest as a Single-Op/Multi-Band entry.
Operation will be limited to the contest only. QSL via his home
call address.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The CQ Worldwide DX SSB Contest is on
tap for this weekend. The SKCC Sprint and UKEICC 80 Meter Contests
are on October 28. The RSGB 80 Meter Club Sprint, SSB is on October
